A Town Dedicated to Sustainability and Climate Adaption

With the success of a Pilot Project in 2021, an installation of a 5.28kW solar array located at the Wastewater Treatment Facility, the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield awarded a contract to The Smart Energy Company to expand upon this project by installing an additional 70kW NOREASTER®.

These panels are expected to produce 40 percent of the power to run the Wastewater Treatment Facility and achieve 70 percent of the Town’s Greenhouse Gas reduction targets. The goal is to expand by adding additional arrays in hopes to produce 100 percent of the power.
