The Centre Communautaire de Acadieville, a vital hub for the local community, has taken a significant step toward energy independence with the installation of a NOREASTER 5 (50 kW) solar system. As a non-profit organization, the centre has long been a gathering place for residents, powered by community spirit and the dedication of volunteers who have led numerous upgrades over the years.
By adopting solar energy, the centre is reducing its reliance on the grid, lowering operating costs, and ensuring it can continue serving the community for years to come. The system is projected to offset 560,178.8 kg of lifetime CO₂ emissions and deliver a total energy value of $512,212.79 over its lifetime.
