Bird’s Hill Wagyu Farm

What started with a handful of Wagyu embryos has grown into a family farm raising more than 285 full-blood, DNA-verified Wagyu cattle. Bird’s Hill Wagyu describes itself as Atlantic Canada’s only commercial producer of full-blood Wagyu beef, and everything about the operation is built around patience and doing things properly.
This summer, the farm added a NOREASTER® 8 to the operation. The Turnkey system was commissioned in July and is now producing power for the farm, with an estimated $1.7 million or more in lifetime energy savings and an expected payback of just over five years.
Raising cattle to that standard means thinking decades ahead. Owning your power works the same way: a long-term asset that keeps producing year after year.
