Municipal
The Town of Hampton is taking a proactive step toward sustainability by installing a 3.24 kW NOREASTER ground-mounted solar system at its wastewater treatment plant. This small-scale pilot project is designed to demonstrate the potential of renewable energy integration within critical municipal infrastructure, while reducing operating costs and environmental impact.
The NOREASTER system will generate clean, renewable electricity that offsets a portion of the facility’s energy use. As a pilot, the project will provide valuable data on performance, maintenance needs, and long-term savings. This information will guide the Town in scaling up renewable energy adoption across other municipal facilities. Over its lifetime, the system is projected to deliver $30,213.12 in savings.
